Actually, it’s easier than you might think and here’s why: meditation, the #1 stress-buster, gives you energy and clarity. That means more clarity to know what’s important to do and what’s not, more energy to say “yes” and more energy to say “no.”
My name is Marina Spence. I’m no stranger to busy. I’m a corporate consultant, author, speaker, and teacher of meditation. For almost 30 years, I’ve started my day by meditating, using techniques learned studying with Buddhist and Indian teachers. While I’ve also taught meditation for nearly 20 years, most recently I’ve created a gentler, more feminine approach to meditation. To me, “more feminine” means we:
- welcome and accept our emotions in our meditation practice
- don’t beat ourselves up (no Zen sticks allowed, literally or figuratively)
- change things around
- have fun & laugh
